When will construction begin?

Construction on 10400 South will begin in late August or early September 2008.

When will construction on the roadway be complete?

Construction on 10400 South is anticipated to reach substantial completion by late fall 2009. That means that due to timing and weather it is likely that the final roadway overlay will take place in the Spring of 2010.

How do I get construction updates?

Will 10400 South be open to through traffic during construction?

One lane in each direction will remain open on 10400 South between Bangerter Highway and Redwood Road throughout the duration of the project. Any complete closures will be temporary, and scheduled to avoid peak travel times. Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the project area and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. 

Will I be able to use my driveway or business access?

Residential and business access will be maintained throughout the project. Some construction activities may limit or even temporarily close access to complete the work. Property or business owners will be notified in advance if their access will be affected for an extended period of time.
