At the Design Committee Meeting in August 2005, the committee discussed holding another meeting early in 2006 to discuss construction issues such as phasing, property access during construction, and limitation of construction operations. This meeting has been postponed indefinitely. A complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief was recently filed in U.S. District Court regarding the 10400 South widening project between Redwood Road and Bangerter Highway. At this time, UDOT plans to continue right-of-way acquisition and the design of 10400 South, but will not be advertising this project for construction as previously scheduled.

Team members will continue to meet with individual property owners throughout the spring of 2006 to discuss design and right-of-way details, but no further Design Committee Meetings are planned at this time.
