The Utah Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is conducting an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) study on 1800 North in the Clinton and Sunset communities of Davis County.

The EIS will identify current and future transportation needs in the study area and will consider the need for a new interchange with Interstate 15, a railroad overpass, and the widening of 1800 North between Interstate 15 and 2000 West.

The study, will consider alternatives to improving 1800 North and will weigh environmental impacts to include the following:

  • Historic Properties
  • Social and Community Setting
  • Traffic Noise
  • Community Economics
  • Air Quality
