WELCOME TO THE I-15 INTERCHANGE AT 24TH STREET ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
Numerous traffic deficiencies have been identified at the Interstate 15 (I-15) Interchange at 24th Street. The Environmental Assessment (EA) for the 24th Street interchange is being prepared to assess the environmental impacts that may result from improvements made to the 24th Street interchange and adjacent surface streets.
Purpose of the Study
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is studying the I-15 Interchange at 24th Street for potential improvements that will reduce congestion, increase local and regional mobility, and improve safety within the area. Specific areas to be studied are:
- Midland Drive / 2550 South intersection
- 24th Street Interchange
- The Ogden City Industrial Park
Study Area Location
The EA study area is bounded by the West Ogden Community to the east, 31st Street to the south, 1900 West to the west, and 21st Street to the north. Click here to view a map of the study area.
Study Participants
FHWA is coordinating with local cities, counties, federal and state regulatory agencies, property owners, business owners, interested individuals, and other organizations to ensure that all issues and potential concerns are identified and considered before a final decision is made.
