Environmental Assessment
The Weber and Ogden Rivers, I-15, and the Union Pacific Railroad create barriers that restrict traffic flow between west Ogden and downtown Ogden. The 24th Street corridor has been the traditional entrance to downtown Ogden as it is one of the few east/west roads that cross the Weber River, Union Pacific Railroad tracks, and I-15 and connect west Ogden to downtown Ogden.
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The City of Ogden, in cooperation with UDOT and FHWA, is studying the 24th Street corridor area for potential improvements that will increase roadway capacity, function, access, and safety. Specific areas to be studied are:
- Midland Drive / 2550 South intersection
- 24th Street Interchange
- 21st Street Interchange
- 24th Street corridor access to downtown Ogden
- Area within the Ogden City Industrial Park
STUDY AREA LOCATION
The study covers the area from 1900 West to Lincoln Avenue on the east, and 21st Street on the north to 31st Street on the south. Click the link below to view a map of the study area.
