WELCOME TO ACCESS UTAH COUNTY
The Utah Department of Transportation is improving connectivity and mobility in Utah Valley with five significant road projects. This website provides information about two of those projects: Timpanogos Highway (S.R. 92), Lehi to Highland; and Geneva Road, 1600 North to University Parkway. The three other projects, S.R. 77 in Springville, the Payson Bridges project on I-15 and Pioneer Crossing, I-15 to Redwood Road, are complete.
Timpanogos Highway (State Route 92) serves as the primary highway for east Lehi, Highland, Alpine and Cedar Hills. UDOT is expanding a section of this road, from I-15 to S.R. 74 in Highland, to five lanes. Between I-15 and Highland Boulevard, UDOT is augmenting Timpanogos Highway with "Commuter Lanes," which will provide a direct connection to and from I-15 without stopping at intersections.
Geneva Road is one of the primary north-south corridors connecting Provo to Pleasant Grove. As the area continues to grow, UDOT wants to expand Geneva Road to improve travel for all of its users. The Geneva Road project will include widening the road to 5 lanes (including a center turn lane) between University Parkway and 1600 North in Orem, and building a bridge over the railroad lines near 400 South in Orem. This project is now funded and moving forward.
