Bluff Street Improvement Projects

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and St. George City are working to improve mobility and safety on Bluff Street at Red Hills Parkway, Sunset Boulevard and St George Boulevard to meet current and future traffic needs.

The first Bluff Street Improvement Project has added a new intersection at Red Hills Parkway. This new intersection was completed in December 2014.

The next project includes a new intersection at Bluff Street and Sunset Boulevard, the widening of Bluff Street between Sunset and St George Boulevard, and some modifications to the St George Boulevard Intersection. The plans for this second project are finished and available on this website for public review and comment. These projects will reduce congestion and replace the cross-street intersections which will improve traffic flow.

Please check this website for regular updates or send an email to receive updates as they become available.

The Bluff Street Corridor is currently undergoing a reevaluated Environmental Assessment. The complete document can be accessed In the link below
