The new Express Lanes electronic payment system became active Monday, Aug. 23 at 6 a.m. More than 6,000 Express Passes have been requested.

Remember that crossing the double-white lines is illegal. Only carpools, motorcycles, buses, C plate vehicles, emergency vehicles and solo drivers with an Express Pass are eligible to use the Express Lanes.
