Innovate 80 consists of projects on or near the I-80 corridor. The purpose of this site is to help provide detailed information regarding these projects so you are aware and can plan for and navigate around construction as well as to understand how innovation is saving time and money.

What's Happening Now

2300 East Bridges : The 2300 E. westbound on-ramp is scheduled to reopen Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 6 a.m. TO WATCH TIME LAPSED VIDEO OF THE BRIDGE DEMOLITION AND PLACEMENT CLICK ON THE INNOVATION TAB. More

I-80 State to 1300 East : Project is currently 90% complete. All lanes on I-80 will open mid-November with full project complete in December. The 1300 East off- and on-ramps are scheduled to reopen Friday morning, Nov. 6. More

I-80 Echo Bridges : Echo Dam Road is now open with intermittent flagging. More

S.R. 201 from 5600 West to Bangerter Highway : Traffic has switched to the westbound lanes. Two lanes opened during peak times with opposite direction in a single lane. use I-80 as an Alternate. More

S.R. 201 Widening S.R. 202 to I-80 : S.R. 201 from S.R. 202 to I-80, is closed through October 2009. More
