What can customers expect from UDOT with the new "Working 4 Utah" schedule and specifically the closure of some offices on Fridays?

Although some UDOT offices will be closed on Fridays, many services will continue to be available five or more days per week.

• Construction and Materials Testing
• UDOT construction crews and materials testing laboratories will continue to work the hours needed to manage the various construction projects around the state.
• Incident Management Crews
• UDOT will continue to patrol freeways and respond to crashes and other incidents or emergencies as needed, five or more days per week, 24 hours per day.
• Snow and Ice Control
• Snow plows will continue to respond to weather conditions during winter snow events, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
• Ports of Entry
• Truckers can expect to see the ports of entry around the state continue to operate throughout the week.  The central port of entry at the Calvin Rampton Complex will be closed on Friday, but have extended hours Monday through Thursday.
• Road Conditions/Real Time Traffic
• The UDOT Traffic Operations Center will continue to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with real time traffic conditions, live camera shots, from 400 cameras, and weather conditions on all state roads.  This information is available online at www.CommuterLink.utah.gov and on the 511 travel information number.  The 511 travel information number will continue to have the best information about travel conditions on nearly 6,000 miles of state highways in Utah.
