UDOT is widening 800 North in Orem (S.R. 52) to six lanes - three travel lanes in each direction with additional width for a raised center median - from 400 West to 1000 East. The median and widened roadway will improve traffic flow in the area and greatly enhance safety for local and commuter traffic.

The project has progressed through an environmental study, an intensive design process, and is now under construction. The project will last through Fall of 2008. Questar Gas and other utility companies are also working along 800 North within UDOT's project area.
