Completion of Railroad and Drainage Culvert Work on State Route 30

UDOT has completed railroad and drainage culvert work on State Route 30. These infrastructure improvements were carried out in preparation for construction planned in 2024. Crews have replaced and extended the railroad crossing concrete panels that will accommodate additional travel lanes planned for construction in 2024. Drainage culverts have been replaced and/or reconstructed to better move water from one side of the road to the other.

Please be advised, while some construction activities have wrapped up, temporary single-lane closures will still occur both during the day and night through the end of December 2023. These closures will allow crews to continue shoulder improvements along SR-30 that include building up the roadway embankment to prevent flooding and support the roadway, seeding to aid in erosion control, and other stabilization work.

UDOT thanks you for your continued patience and support.

Temporary Single-Lane Closures in Place until December 2023:

What to Expect:

  • Daytime work with a potential delays of up to 5 minutes.
  • Night and weekend shoulder with potential delays of up to 15 minutes.
