STUDY SCHEDULE
Spring/Summer 2007-Issues Identification Phase
  • Agency interviews, workshops and meetings to identify issues and begin formulating a vision for the corridor
  • Gather information on current roadway conditions
  • Assemble data on natural resources within the study area
  • Group materials on population, employment and housing trends
  • Collect information on current and projected land development
  • Newsletter #1 and #2 distributed

Fall 2007-Analysis Phase

  • Meet with local governments and small groups
  • Finalize corridor visions
  • Anticipate roadway conditions
  • Identify possible solutions to safety concerns, capacity issues, and travel demand
  • Newsletter #3 distributed

Winter 2007-Develop Draft ES

  • Prepare a draft ES for US 89; 2000 North, Orem to 100 East, American Fork
  • Newsletter #4 distributed
  • Public Hearing held

January/February 2008- Final ES

  • Submit Final ES to UDOT
