Summary Project Update: 11/5/09
Beginning early next week, Heritage Lane will be closed for a month to accommodate concrete paving activities. (see details below)
Concrete paving activities will take place this week and next week on the south side of Antelope Drive near the 1000 West and 2000 West intersections. (see below for details)
Detailed Construction Update:
1000 W. Intersection:
- Paving in the remaining sections of 1000 West began today and will continue into next week.
- The entrance to the shopping center just west of the 1000 W. intersection, between Arctic Circle and Jiffy Lube, has been temporarily relocated west of Jiffy Lube so that crews can pave in the area. Please access the entire shopping area from the regular access on 1000 West, or the temporary access on Antelope west of Jiffy Lube.
South Side of 1700 South:
- Work on Marilyn Drive (1475 West) will be completed this week, allowing paving to be finished in the area. Access from Antelope to the neighborhoods will be allowed from both Allison to Marilyn until work begins to cul-de-sac Allison Way.
Heritage Lane:
- Beginning early next week, Heritage Lane will be closed to accommodate concrete paving activities. The closure is scheduled to last approximately one month. In order to access any of the businesses or homes on Heritage Lane, motorists should use the entrance at 2000 W. near the city offices. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed.
2000 W. Intersection:
- Weather-permitting, the south side of Antelope, east of the 2000 West intersection, will be paved this coming week.
