Past Public Meetings

Past City Council Presentations

After the release of the Final EIS, the project team presented at local county commission and city council meetings (including the Davis County Commission and Farmington) in July 2017.

The project team presented at local city councils (including Layton, Syracuse, Hooper, Farmington, Clinton, Kaysville, West Point and West Haven) during May, June and July of 2013 to review the Draft EIS and next steps of the study.

Public Hearings

We hosted three public meetings on June 11, 12, and 13, 2013 in Farmington, West Point, and Hooper; each of which included a formal public hearing held in conjunction with an informational open house. Participants were able to learn about the environmental study, review the Draft EIS and submit comments to the WDC Study Team.

Online Open House:
We have prepared an online version of the open houses for those who prefer to learn about the study online or were unable to attend the open houses in person. The online open house is an audio-guided presentation of the same information that was displayed at the live open houses.

Instructions:
Click on the slide below to open the presentation. Click on "Click to Listen" in the bottom center to start the audio narration for each slide. Navigate through the slides using the arrows in the bottom right corner. After viewing the presentation, we encourage you to share your comments with us by clicking on "Contact Us" in the bottom left corner of the presentation.

*Be sure to turn up the volume on your computer or use ear phones to hear the audio narration. Note: Due to the file size, download may take several minutes. Chrome and Firefox users may need to right-click on the image and click "Save Link As" to save the file to their computer in order for the audio to work properly.
