The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving the intersection of 1900 West (SR-126) and 4000 South in Roy. As part of the project, the free right-turn lane from eastbound 4000 South to southbound 1900 West will be removed and intersection amenities such as signals, pedestrian ramps and sidewalks will be upgraded. This project is intended to optimize mobility and enhance safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, residents and commuters.
Overnight Intersection Lane Reduction - Monday, Oct. 6
Lanes of the intersection at 1900 West and 4000 South in Roy will be reduced overnight on Monday, Nov. 6, through the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 7 for traffic signal replacement. Drivers should use caution in the work zone and follow posted signage.
What to Expect
• Temporary lane reductions and shifted traffic patterns • Sidewalk closures and pedestrian detours • Access to businesses and residences open at all times • Potential noise, dust and vibration

Construction started in Spring 2023 and is expected to last through November 2023.

• Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. • Possibility of occasional night work
