Description
On Monday, April 30, 2018, the Utah Department of Transportation began road widening work on US-40 through Daniels Canyon from Three Forks Canyon to Daniels Summit (MP 30.75 to MP 34.21). This project widened the road in the canyon to extend the westbound passing lane and provided safety improvements. Work was completed in September 2018.
Construction Activities
:
Work occurred Monday - Saturday during daytime hours, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Intermittent traffic shifts and single lane closures were possible during this work
Some night work was required late summer 2018
Motorists were advised to reduce speeds in the work zone
