This project involved 3 separate construction projects in southern Utah County. The first segment was on US-89 in Mapleton extending from 1600 N to the US-6 Interchange. The second section began at the I-15 and US-115 interchange in Payson and headed south on Main Street ending at the 100 N intersection. The final segment began on US-198 in Spanish Fork at the intersection of Main Street and 300 N and continued east on US-198 until it meets with US-6.
Work on the first two sections included rotomilling to remove 1.5” of existing asphalt and applying a 2” SMA asphalt surface, as well as removing and replacing pedestrian ramps along the adjacent sidewalk to meet current ADA standards.
US-198 in Spanish Fork received a layer of microsurfacing in addition to the removing and replacing pedestrian ramps along the adjacent sidewalk to meet current ADA standards.
