UDOT, in coordination with the city of Hyde Park, installed a new traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 91 and 3100 North. The construction of the new traffic signal improved the safety and mobility of the intersection by assigning right-of-way. Each new signal was evaluated for the traffic volume, turning movements, pedestrian use, and location variables such as sight distance and crashes before any signal was installed.
