The Transportation Commission has allocated $495 million to extend MVC from 4100 South to S.R. 201. UDOT has been preparing for this segment of construction. Rocky Mountain Power lines and Kern River gas lines have been relocated, reducing the roadway construction duration and reducing conflicts. UDOT is continuing to acquire properties in the area. The design/builder contract has been awarded to Kiewit/Clyde Joint Venture. Construction of the future roadway is projected to begin spring 2019.
