The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be working at various locations on I-80 in Tooele, Salt Lake and Summit counties to repair concrete bridges, guardrail and cable barrier. These repairs will preserve concrete structures on the interstates and enhance safety for drivers.
Construction resumes Monday, April 23, 2018 after a 3-month winter suspension. Crews will work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional nighttime work at specific locations. Crews are expected to work primarily on freeway shoulders and conduct occasional single lane closures.
Crews began on I-80 in Tooele County and will move easterly into Salt Lake and Summit Counties. Work is anticipated to take ten days at each location.
