The Utah Department of Transportation will be improving an 11-mile section of U.S. 40 from the intersection at W 2000 S to about 9000 E in Gusher. The project is part of UDOT’s efforts to preserve and extend the life of the roadway.
Construction work began on July 8, 2019 and is estimated to be completed by the end of 2019.
Work will include:
- Removing and replacing two inches of the existing asphalt surface.
- Removing and replacing pedestrian ramps.
- Repairing sections of the Uintah River Bridge.
- Repairing sections of guardrail.
