This is primarily a pavement rehabilitation project located along SR-24 and SR-119. The project is planned to be constructed during the 2018 season. The project goals are to preserve infrastructure and to promote zero crashes, injuries and fatalities. This project proposes to include improvements as follows: 1. The entire roadway surface will receive an HMA overlay with lane level and SMA. Soft spots will be repaired as needed. 2. As the pavement surface is being raised due to the overlay, the project will address edge drop-off and roadway approaches. 3. Replace Texas turn downs and jersey barrier (in select locations along SR-24 and SR-119) with w-beam guardrail. 4. Remove existing w-beam guardrail along SR-119 and 300 East in Glenwood to improve sight triangle. 5. Slopes will be flattened where guardrail is proposed to be removed. 6. Replace existing delineators with flexible delineation. 7. Reinstall rumble strips per current UDOT standard.
This project has been completed.
