UDOT will resurface two segments of S.R. 68, from MP 11 to MP 12, and from MP 14 to MP 14.6 by removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt. Some shoulder improvements and center rumble strips are also included in the project. In July, crews will return to place the final roadway surface (called a chip seal) on top of the new asphalt to extend the life of the pavement.
As a result, the life of the pavement will be extended for several years, and the driving experience along the corridor will be improved.
