UDOT rehabilitated U.S. 89 from 1200 North in Mapleton to 400 South in Springville by removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt. This project also replaced the concrete barrier from 700 South to 800 South in Springville with guardrail, updated road signs and roadway messages, made minor adjustments to sidewalk, and included drainage improvements.

As a result, the life of the pavement has been extended for several years, and safety and drainage along the corridor has been improved.
