As part of UDOT’s pavement rehabilitation program, three inches of existing pavement was removed (rotomilled) from 5400 South and replaced with new asphalt. Pedestrian access ramps within the project area were updated to meet current UDOT and ADA standards. To increase pedestrian safety, a flashing beacon was installed at the corner of 5400 South and 5160 West to provide an additional crossing for pedestrians. Minor drainage, traffic striping and signing improvements were also made.
