Reconstruction - No Added Capacity
UDOT in partnership with the Navajo Nation received a Nationally Significant Federal Lands and Tribal Projects Grant. The project will reconstruct SR-162 between Montezuma Creek and Aneth, Replace the McElmo Bridge, realign the Junction of SR-162 and SR-262, and rehabilitate the pavement on SR-262 and the rest of SR-162 with asphalt overlays and provide some ancillary safety features. This project is currently in the design phase.
