The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be performing work to the bridges passing over the railroad tracks near 400 West and 1500 West on S.R. 75 (1400 North) in order to improve the roadway and extend the life of the bridges. This work will be done in three stages beginning with the bridge near 400 West, then the bridge near 1500 West, and followed by a thin pavement overlay to the entire road surface.
Beginning Monday, March 8, 2021, construction crews will be working at night (8 p.m. - 6 a.m.) on the bridge near 1500 West on 1400 North in Springville. To facilitate this work, the roadway over the bridge will be restricted to a single lane with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. The night work and road restrictions are scheduled to last through Friday morning, March 12.
