The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has begun work and will continue through fall 2020 to renew sections of concrete on State Route 201. Crews will be grinding down concrete to create smooth transitions or replacing entire panels that have deteriorated with general wear and tear and are in need of replacement. The majority of the work will be concentrated at the 900 West, Redwood Road, 3200 West, and Bangerter Highway interchanges. Additional work will be near the convergence of S.R. 201 and I-80 near Blackrock in Tooele County. Currently crews are working from early evening to early morning on this project. Residents, businesses and commuters can expect traffic restrictions, construction equipment in the area, and an increase in noise, dust, and vibration.
