The purpose of this project is facilitating the addition of two U.S. Highway 40 undercrossing roads to provide local traffic access across U.S. 40, improving connectivity and providing access for life safety. This includes constructing two bridge pairs to accommodate anticipated traffic volumes for the undercrossing roads.

Upcoming Construction Activities*

• Crews will continue to work outside of the roadway after the last bridge opens, including work underneath the bridges and in the roadway shoulders.

Ongoing Construction Activities*

•  Intermittent single lane and shoulder closures  will continue at various points throughout the construction area.
•  Crews will continue to work during the daytime hours, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work.

*Construction schedules are subject to change due to utility, material, weather, or equipment delays.
