In an effort to extend the life of the pavement, UDOT will renew approximately seven miles of U.S. 40 in Wasatch County between Clegg Canyon and Daniels Summit. Work will include crack sealing, the placement of a new road surface (called a chip seal), and guardrail replacement. This project will improve safety and driving conditions along this highly-traveled corridor.

Now that crack sealing work is complete, the project is on hiatus until Summer 2022, when crews will return to place a new road surface and replace guardrail along the corridor. 

No traffic impacts will be in place until work resumes.
