UDOT, UTA and UVU have partnered to build a pedestrian bridge that will provide access between the Intermodal Center in Orem and the UVU campus. The bridge will span almost 1,000 feet across I-15 and will be 15 feet wide. Elevators on each side of the bridge will accommodate pedestrians, bikes and scooters. The $30.76 million bridge project will dramatically improve safety for pedestrians and decrease congestion on nearby streets. It will make transit, biking and walking more appealing to University students, staff and visitors while improving the integrated transportation system in central Utah County.

August 22 & 23 - I-15 Full lane closures for the concrete deck pour will take place Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 p.m. through 10:30 am the following morning. Northbound traffic will be diverted off at University Parkway to State Street in Orem and back onto I-15 from 800 North.
