The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) improved the interchange by adding an additional lane on the Pioneer Crossing southbound on-ramp and additional signalized left and right turn lanes on the northbound off-ramp. 

This project will improve the traffic flow on both ramps entering and exiting the freeway. Work began in mid-July and was completed in mid-November 2018. 

The project has been completed.
