The Salt Lake County Office of Township Services (OTS) improved safety on 2300 East from I-80 to 3900 South by:

• Adding a roundabout for the I-80 on-and off-ramps to improve traffic flow on 2300 East and the side streets near I-80.
• Adding dedicated bicycle lanes, improved pedestrian crossings, street lighting, and repairing or adding new curb, gutter and sidewalk on both sides of the road from 3900 South to 3300 South and on the east side of the road from 3300 South to Claybourne Avenue to improve pedestrian and bicycle accessibility.
• Improving business access with new concrete driveway approaches.
• Beautifing 2300 East between 3300 South and 3900 South with upgraded light poles, benches, bicycle racks, trees, landscaping and other features.
