The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), in coordination with the City of Henefer, will be conducting the final phase of roadway improvements on Interstate 84 (I-84) and Main Street (S.R. 65). The first phase was completed in fall 2020, and the second phase is currently underway. This project is being done to improve aging bridges and pavement and to enhance mobility and safety for residents and commuters.
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), in coordination with the City of Henefer, will open the Main Street (S.R. 65) bridge over I-84 as early as Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.
Phase two includes replacement of the Main Street bridge over I-84. New cable barrier on I-84 is being installed as part of the improvements.
