Project Overview

• UDOT has begun a project that will continue through the fall 2020 near the Elwood/Tremonton area.
• Project includes the rehabilitation of nine bridges on the I-15 and I-84. The goal of the project is to preserve bridges by resurfacing the top surface of the bridges, extending their lifespan and enhancing safety. Crews will be using hydro demolition techniques on the bridge surfaces.

• Construction activities for this project are close to substantial completion. Commuters should expect to see less crews on or around the road.
• Repair work will continue under the bridges throughout the project area. Local traffic should watch for crews in the road, traffic control devices, lane and road closures, and detours.
• Surrounding residents and businesses can expect traffic restrictions, congestion, construction equipment and vehicles in the area, and an increase in noise, particulate and vibration.
